Winery Review: Lemon and Pear on the nose of this white wine from Italy. It is dry with light Citrus and Acidity. Flavors of Lemon, Pear, Green Apple and Melon. Good Value wine – (E.W 3.5).

 

Wine Folly: pg 149: The book talks of Pinot Grigio being acidic with a light body, and elements of peach, lemon zest, cantaloupe, raw almond, and crushed gravel. I found flavors of cantaloupe but was unable to detect any of the other flavors mentioned.

 

My Review: Quite dry, very acidic especially the after taste. The taste can only be described as grapey, like the skins of grapes. While I did not hate this wine, I would not try it again.

Warm smooth, light body, a very refreshing wine. With a sour aftertaste. Good wine would recommend.
