 Winery Review: 100% Pinot Rose’. 12.5% alcohol, high acidity, medium low tannins. Opens with strawberry, rose hip, and stone. Palette offers more strawberry, cranberry skin, salty minerals, crisp apple, honeydew melon rind, and rose water. Finish is long crisp and refreshing. Perfect on a hot day – (T.D 3.9).

Wine Folly: pg 150: I could detect the mushroom earthy flavor mentioned in the book.

 

My Review: This wine is Tart, earthy, and flowery . Slightly dry, with a sweet and sour aftertaste. I would try this wine again.

The book says potpourri, honeydew, pink grapefruit, lemon, and almond.    My Review: Smells like crisp green apple, citric, and grassy hay. Tastes citrusy, light body, with apple notes. Warm smooth, light body, a very refreshing wine. With a sour aftertaste. Good wine would recommend.
